Spring is in the air.

May not feel like it today with the hail, rain, cold and Christmas shopping but spring is just around the corner and this week's challenge on Just for Fun is Spring.
The bulbs in my garden are mistakenly thinking the last warm spell is continuing and are pushing their little noses out of the sodden soil and I heard a blackbird sing this morning so what better to brighten the heart than to look forward to a walk in a bluebell wood.

Well I haven't quite got a wood for you but I do have a bluebell or two in this quick and simple card.

Quick because I really, really should get a couple more Christmas cards made (still only done three) and that's what I set out to do this afternoon, simple because I used a Crafty Individual paper for the background.

I inked the edges of the paper with Dusty Concord DI and stamped with an old Graphicus image before getting out the Promarkers.  Final step was to glaze the flowers and leaves with Glossy Accents and Bob's your uncle (who was Bob?)

Hi Ann,
So nice to hear from you. Thanks for the comments.
My cards are sitting here..that is as far as I got. Know what you mean about the holidays. I lost my baby sister in Dec. 9 years ago;it still hurts.
My sympathy to you.
The Historic Home Tour is a money maker for the Heritage Society. The homes are in "Old Town"; most have been updated, some authentic, some not. Our home was built in 1918; it is small, but nice, and is probably not fancy enough to be on tour.
I have never been to England, but it sounds very interesting. We are going away for the Holidays.
Happy Holidays to you.
Pat

Hi Ann, I hope your wee dog is much better since you posted on Wednesday. I'm late so commenting here instead of the WOYWW post. I have a sweet william in flower at the moment ... the plant must know something I don't because I think it's freezing out there :) Many thanks for your much appreciated comment this week.
