WOYWW 177 and Mr Mojo is back

Lost him for a while back there but Mr Mojo is definitely back as you can see.

If you saw my previous post you will know that I won a set of Graphic 45 papers in a Facebook giveaway.  They arrived last week, putting the sock knitting on a bit of a back burner as I wanted to get started with them straight away.

The papers are on the right of my desk underneath the sock (just to show you I'm still cracking on despite struggling with a very poorly written pattern but I think I've turned the corner - as well as the heel -ha ha).

Centre stage is the project I'm working on with the papers using a set of heart shaped frames (think these were from Calico Crafts) that I have over-painted and covered with the beautiful eastern papers.  I have been going through my box of bits (top left) sorting out matching bits and bobs, buttons and charms, to decorate the front of the frames and ready to glue down.

Just peeping in at the top of the photo is a house blank gessoed ready to do a Christmas/winter theme.  I see Tim Holtz has brought out some white Christmas trees and wreath but his are expensive so I went to my local garden centre yesterday and bought two packs of different size trees (6 in total) for £3.50 (centre left).

So that's three projects on the go now - just as I like it.

Now for a quick trip round to Julia's place and a few more desks before breakfast.

Glad to hear your Mr. Mojo has made a reappearance - mine has too! Awful when they go on holiday, isn't it. Love what you are doing - the heart frames are stunning! Gorgeous colours.

Thanks for your lovely comment and so glad you like my work! I was a bit nervous starting this one as I'd never painted a tiger before and was terrified I'd spoil my new art journal!

Happy WOYWW,

Socks, love 'em. And the heart frames look sweet too. Fab, isn't it, when the mojo is in high gear. But then I have to write stuff down or when it goes walkabout I'll forget all the great ideas.

Have a fab day

Love those hearts Ann, and well done on the candy win, looks like those papers really got you back into the groove again. I find all things TH expensive, so as much as I like and admire what he does, I'm not a total convert as I couldn't afford to be! Well done on the sock, it looks great and you're really cranking on! I find knittinghelp.com to be invaluable, they have lots of short videos, I was having trouble with the kitchener stitch for the final few stitches but not now, after watching their video. The wool I'm using is Red Heart brand, Heart and Sole Toasted Almond. My tension was so bad on my first ever pair that I have laddering almost the length of the sock, I got better though.

I am so pleased to hear that Mr Mojo has returned what a blessing, now you can play. Love the hearts they are looking good and what a bonus winning the papers always helps when you get a little push from somewhere else.

I did save some parts of the blessed Vagabond like the feet and bits n bobs so not all lost.

Have a great week crafting.
