Whats on your Workspace Wednesday - 207

Bit late today - 6 weeks late to be exact.  Completley lost my Mojo and crafting has taken a back seat to other issues, bereavements, bad back, broken tooth, holiday and just yesterday, a broken washing machine.

In an attempt to give myself a kick-start I got out some background papers yesterday and my art journal so that's more or less all that is on my desk this week.

Oh, and some rolls of washi tape brought over from Japan by an Aunt's Japanese daughter-in-law - Kinuko.  She came for dinner on Sunday and joined the monthly lunch circle - Andy's Mum, his two Aunts ( one only recently widowed) so we went out for lunch.  Had to use the campervan as well as the car as couldn't get all 6 in the car.  Kinuko also brought me a cute little box containing two pottery chopstick stands and it was wrapped in waxed paper bag (above) so that will be saved and used in craft.

Another reason for going out - my birthday last Friday and here are some of the lovely handmade cards I got from friends (including the lovely Neet of Hickydorums).

Lastly here are Andy and Sorrel outside our campervan last week.  We went to Northumberland, a stunningly beautiful part of England, our first visit but not our last for sure.

My loss of mojo has also meant I haven't visited many of your blogs for a few weeks, hope to put that right today, once I'm back from the dentist's, starting with Julia's.  Hope to see you all next week with something positive to show.

I'm doing a quick blog dash before I get started this morning cos we have another estate agent coming today to take pics of our house so it needs a final hoover and tidy through :-)
Sorry to hear you've had difficult times over the past weeks Ann. It's strange how it all seems to happen at once isn't it? It's been very much like that here too :-(

Andrew looks comfy outside the camper and Sorrell looks in charge at the wall. Great photos.
Nice to see all that crafty goodness on your window sill and glad you are getting back to being a little crafty. Chopstick holders sound lovely.

Hi Ann, I think your mojo and mine went on a long holiday together..... I have not joined in WOYWW or done much crafting for ages because of building works (3 months worth) but it is finished now and hope to get back in my craft room soon. Looked for you at Port Sunlight. Love the pic of the Campervan. Hugs, Anne x #54

Hi Ann, so sorry to hear about your recent loss of mojo and the events leading up to it, getting stuck in with those lovely backgrounds seems like an excellent way to start! I'm drooling over your campervan we have vw which we love and have had for about 25 years it's comfortable but not as luxurious as yours appears to be, maybe I better show my husband your photo ! happy crafting toni 138 x

It's lovely to see you Ann. I hope life quietens down a bit for you now. You must have needed that lovely holiday. Northumberland is just beautiful isn't it. One of my favourite places to visit.
A belated Happy Birthday.

Hi Ann,

The camper van looks like a lot of fun.

What a wonderful collection of cards - Happy Belated Birthday to you!

I must admit, I've been picking washi tape here and there. It's fun to use on my canvases!

Thanks for visiting me already!!

Happy WOYWW

Love your view, love camping too and it would be nicer in a van than a tent like we did

Belated happy birthday Ann and nice to see you back. Hope the Mojo arrives soon! I love Northumberland, beautiful county, but as most of my ancestors came from there you might say I'm a bit biased!

Looking forward to seeing you at the weekend, it's been ages. If Andy is interested I'll lend you the book from the Mille Miglia whilst I'm away and if you have a laptop or ipad bring it with you and you can down load all the other photos I took and show him. It was an amazing experience despite the rain. The weather was otherwise excellent over there!
Hope you got my card in lieu of a birthday card... a postcard I sent from Abana Terme.
Love Jo x

Re your ipad/ lap top ....You don't need internet connection to load photos into your files or to look at photos... just battery power! Bring it with you and just make sure it's charged!!!
See you tomorrow..

Sorry to hear you've had a run of horribleness lately, Ann, and hope it's all behind you now, and that your mojo is well on the way back to full strength! Love the papers. The Japanese package everything so beautifully, don't they. Happy belated birthday to you too! I had a really lovely day.

Thank you for your nice comment! I am hoping to be a bit more active in blogland now we've completed our house purchase - as long as I've got time and energy between the box packing at this end! Goodness we've got a lot of stuff.
