WOYWW 250

Wednesday, again!  Wish someone would get their finger off the fast-forward button I'm struggling to keep up.  Think I've just about made joining in with Julia's desk hop this week (pop over here to see what it's all about) because if you had come over to my craft space an hour ago you wouldn't have seen anything at all, apart from a paint spattered table protector.

Postman just delivered a batch of QuietFire Design stamps from Oyster Stamps so I've ripped open the envelope and am raring to go.  Need to get a couple of Mother's Day cards made, one for my M in L and another for Mr Bs 84 year old aunt who we adopt as a second Mum for the day as her son lives in Japan and her daughter in Egypt.
That cute bird from last week is still in it's packet but I have been looking at my paper packs to see if anything inspires me.  Also out are two boxes of stamps, the blue one has a combination of Indigo Blu, Paperartsy and Stampers Anonymous plates with my favourite dragonfly one out on the desk.  The pink box has my nature collection and the poppies on my desk jumped out of that one.  Now 'all' I have to do is pick a stamp and away I go.  Have been a busy bee today, boring stuff like housework, including cleanoing the windows in my conservatory but tomorrow is reserved for craft.
Have a great Wednesday, what's left of it.

Hi Ann, That blue box is looking lost on your desk. It needs to be on mine. I cant wait to see what you do with them.
You touched my heart when you said about adopting Mr B's Aunt for the day as her family are away. I wish more people would think like that to help the elderly not to feel so alone at special times of the year.
At Christmas my 2 young step sons would take a gift and some choc's to the old lady next door. I think they still do that but with their own children.
I bet you are looking forward to your craft day tomorrow... Hope you have loads of fun.

Hi Ann thanks for popping by! I love that birdie stamp. You are going to have fun with him for sure. I have Mother's day cards part finished - lots of flowers to add to finish them off. Wishing you a great week and a happy WOYWW Hugs Helen 61

Aww, that's a nice thing to do for your aunt :-) that must be tough, both your children being away......
Quiet fire stamps are great, I saw some in Julia's workroom the other day and was really taken by them and I'm not even a paper crafter!! The script ones were particularly elegant- I hope you enjoy using yours!!

You have some great looking stamps there. That cute bird will look fabulous paper pieced with his wing on foam dots. I like the bins you have your stamps in. I really need to figure something out for those clear and foam unmounted stamps. I was just putting them in the drawer with the wood mounts. That worked when I only had a few but now I have many. Thanks for the visit earlier. Perhaps we are long lost sisters who like dandelion blog backgrounds and crafty messes. I wouldn't mind a mute houseboy to pick up my crafty mess though. You know, just for the record!
