Vintage - Just For Fun

Thought I would use some of the yards (and yards, and yards) of lace I bought at the weekend - 60p for a sale bag - so have entered this card for the Just For Fun challenge which this week is 'Vintage'.
I already had the Adirondack inks out, which make a change from my usual Distress Inks, so went for Butterscotch and Hazel to give a grungy, could even say dirty, look. The flower stamp is my bargain buy of the week - £1.50. Figures and label are mounted on foam and the buttons, originally cream, are coloured with alcohol inks.

Love the lace but not sure about the overall look of the card, looks like it has been sitting on a shelf in a very smoky pub for a few months, not that I frequent such places, now.

Welcome home Anne just enjoyed reading the story of the dogs, how bizarre is that :)
Nothing quiet like a bargain stamp tehe and it's made a fab background for your lovely ladies :)
Thank you for sharing them with us at Just for Fun

How I love this stamp. I just HAVE to buy it. Lovely card, Ann - but then you make such stunning things I am not at all surprised you have come up with this. Great use of vintage colours (not smoke laden at all)and with the addition of the lace, buttons and the fab tag (who does that one - another must have)it is a big hit with me.
Thanks for joining us with this lovely card at JFF - Hugs, Neet x

I know what you mean about using up some of your lace... trouble is we only use max of 6 inches when we have 50 metres of the stuff! Love your vintage card... it does look old but more like it's emerged from a ladies lace lined perfumed drawer not a smelly old pub!

Love your card and the gorgeous stamps , beautiful work and you did an amazing job with the background. Looks perfectly vintage and definitely not like something from a smelly pub !

Lucky you - all that lace for so few pennies. I am a lace fiend, honestly I cannot live without lace in my stash but you obviously have the knack for spotting a bargain.
Adore what you have created. I have these stamps and they are so wonderful. Beautiful colours, beautiful card.
