I am linking this post to Elizabeth's blog so here are all the photos from lesson 3.
Most have been on various pages of my blog these last two weeks but for ease here they are all together.
I am missing one - the reinforced page two, which I forgot about until today so that's on the agenda for tomorrow, along with the start of lesson 2.
A huge thanks to Elizabeth for the how-to and for pulling so many of us together in this wonderful project.

Closer look at my altered dragonfly - (still find it hard to believe this started out as silver-coloured metal -
So that's where I'm up to - onwards, and upwards.

I am loving your altered book so far! The first pages are bright and cheery with their subtle butterfly edges. I really love the dragonfly pages with the niche and the blues. Great book so far! Keep it coming! Judy #134
Wow, that dragonfly is simply stunning, what a fabulous job you did on him, loving his little niche! Your AB is off to a wonderful start! I thought I had joined all the class's blog but I must have forgotten yours, so sorry, but I joined now! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
What an impressive niche. I appreciate all you have done to make it. That dragonfly is gorgeous. I bet you used AIs to make it so beautiful. And is that free motion stitching I see in the background? Or could it actually be a paper towel? Whichever, I really LOVE the texture it helped create in the niche.
At first I was having a terrible time leaving comments on blogs last night. They didn't want to post. NOW I get "service unavailable when I try to leave a comment. It's really frustrating. But I so appreciate your Link in the class.
