WOYWW 148

Short and sweet this week, partly to keep the lovely Julia happy, partly to save all you other WOYWWers time as this Wednesday blog hop gets bigger and bigger each week and partly because I haven't got a workspace this week.

So this is my mini-space, a tray in the conservatory, well at least this week you cannot say it isn't tidy.  Reason is we have our 15year old, 6ft,  Grandson with us this week and my dining table, where I usually spread out is full of his stuff and come Saturday the rest of the family are joining us for a few days and then it is air-mattresses on the dining room floor.

On the tray - a felt needle-case I made in my teens some seed beads and a half finished beaded doll brooch.  This is for a one to one swap with a crafter from Australia who 'met' me via WOYWW.  Not finished yet as I need some more beads and a back and then it gets sewn together with more beads.

Happy Easter everyone.

PS - just realised that in the middle of the warm sunny break I put the curse on the weather saying it would probably snow at Easter - how could I do that!

How lovely to have your visitor, even if he is taking up your table. Guess it will get messier this weekend or will he have to tidy so that you ALL can eat?
See you soon :)

You are obviously Voodoo Witch Queen Weather forecasting goddess!! Watched the progress of the snow on TV but don't think it's going to get down as far as Wiltshire... :(
Good luck with your grandson! My son is exactly the same, 15, 6' and never stops eating...

ah but that sort of visitor is always welcome huh...my 18 year old is very happy at her Granma's...nointernet,no computer actually...and yet, she loves it. Spoiling, I suspect!
Lovely to read that you've made a swap chum through WOYWW, nothing sums it up better. And thanks for keeping it short, not to please me particularly, but it has to be easier to visit more if there's less to read!!

If it snows here on Easter, you will be in big trouble, young lady! *waggles finger at you* I think that is great that you still have a little corner that you can retreat to and still play while taking a break from the company. Happy times!

I couldn't believe the weather when I saw the news after hearing everyone saying how great spring heatwave was...incredible.

I have one of those eating machine's here only mine's 20 next week and has been 6ft for quite a time. They certainly take up some space ;)

What a lovely view to help with crafting inspiration.

Sorrell is such a cutie...I'm sure you're going to have endless fun with her.
Enjoy Easter with your family :D

Hi Ann, Thanks for your comments. I am even later this week in replies. I love the way you find even the smallest place to craft, so I guess you have a mobile workdesk this week. BJ#58
