Lots of pink and soft greens today as I work on a double slider card for a birthday on Saturday. Better get a move on then. I am following the excellent instructions on Helen's blog,http://acraftproject.blogspot.co.uk and am almost done. Bought a new Sizzix flower die yesterday to make some pretty blooms and once these are finished I only have to make the sliding tags and we are done.
Was away at the weekend in the campervan. Only a short trip to get her ready for the season and make sure all is working OK. We were only about 15 miles down the road at Burrs Country Park between Bury and Ramsbottom (yes, that's its real name) so I just had to call in a local craft shop for some white card and that cute bird stamp on my desk just flew into my basket.
Here's a few photos of my weekend if you want a nosey around.

Hi Anne
I bet you were in Clark's crafts.
I've got that lovely bird stamp, it was given to me by my lovely blog friend Redanne.
Hope you and Sorrell are enjoying the good Lancashire weather, I know KIKKI is.

Lolol - oh your comment on my blog made me laugh!! He's a full on action guy who'll do pretty much anything you ask of him ;-)
Lovely pics from your weekend...I don't know your neck of the woods at all but it looks beautiful. I lived in Northumberland for 11 years so know that and Cumbria like the back of my hand but we never ventured down to Lancashire that much...our loss.
Your papers are so fresh and pretty, very Springlike!

Ann, that is just down the road from us!! Next time you must give me a shout. I remember visiting Cockney Blonde there once and we all went to the pub for dinner.

Loving your bluey patterned paper there. I bought some paisley xcut nestable dies today and they make great birds, just like your stamp. Thanks for the visit and being tickled by my particularness BJ#39
Love those colours Ann, and what a pretty little birdie.
Just read Neet's comment. Yep, her and Chas came over for the afternoon and we had a little walk and then dinner in one of the pubs. Lovely, x
Oh that is a sweet stamp, I must look out for that..I find a bird is very useful. I should, I have far too many!! love the test-run for-the-van location, it looks great. Hopefully have a lot of good weather weekends to look forward to!
Gorgeous paper and such a sweet little bird. Happy crafting, Angela #59
You English sure have some funny place names but the countryside is so beautiful. I can understand that birdie stamp coming home with you, it's gorgeous.
Have a great week,

Hi Ann, love the pink and green coloured card and that's a cute bird stamp that flew into your basket. I've been playing with flowers too this week; when I should really be using up the bought ones in jars on my desk - have to come up with someway to make them more interesting. Nice spot to go for a weekend get away - love to hook up our van but hubby loves his golf on Saturdays. Cheers and have a great week RobynO#24
What a lovely spot that is ann. I love going out into Lancashire and there is so much beauty in the county that is underrated. Than again it keeps it unspoiled and quieter for us!
It was great seeing how you used the parrot stencil and it is the first time I've seen it used since Carol used my design. It was so long ago that I did the drawing! You have used it so creatively and effectively!
Love Jo x
Great pics of your short trip, looks like spring has sprung. Gorgeous colours for your cards.

Hi Ann,
What a cute bird stamp! It reminds me of one of my doodles of long ago. Also, loving the pink and minty green.
The camping trip looks wonderful. The water looks so calm except for that bit around the kayakers.
Thanks for stopping by already.
Happy belated WOYWW

Hi Ann, Beautiful pictures of the outdoors. I like the little bird, and the papers you are using too. BUT most of all I love that you are using an altered heat gun. I saw an Andy Skinner alteration that I am about to try myself..
All the best.

Awesome post. Love the beautiful busy desk and the pictures of the river and Kayaking! I seem to have the same issue with whimsical birds flying into my basket recently...wonder if it is a migration of sorts? Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Vickie aka okienurse #72
Sorry I'm late visiting. It's been a busy life-gets-in-the-way type of week. Once nice thing about being so late is I got to see the slider card after it was finished. And I love the photos from your "neck of the woods." Happy very belated WOYWW from #7.
